Meet Our Doctor

Carolina Escobedo, DMD

Dr. Carolina Escobedo (Dr. E) was born in Mexico and moved to Florida with her family at the age of 13. She is the third of four siblings and is fluent in both English and Spanish. She attended the University of Central Florida where she graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology and Molecular Biology . Dr. E received her Doctor of Medical Dentistry (DMD) degree from the University of Florida.

Dental school provided Dr. E with an opportunity to complete several mission trips where she provided dental care for adults and children in need. The experience of treating orphans in the Dominican Republic inspired her to specialize in pediatric dentistry. Dr. Escobedo completed a year of advanced education in General Dentistry at Lutheran Medical Center in Manhattan followed by a residency and pediatric dentist postdoctoral certification in Brooklyn’s Lutheran Medical Center. During that time she attended mission trips to Guatemala to provide dental services to underserved children.
